| Stills from your Video | ||||||||||||
|
We can create copies of images from video. They can be used for computer presentations, wallpaper or emailed to overseas friends or family. We capture a number of images at a designated point. The best image is selected, enhanced to bring out its best (colour restored, over and underexposure corrected, etc). It is not possible to get high quality prints from video. The reason for this is that video has a maximum of 720 x 576. When printed out at 300 dpi (photographic quality), this equates to an image size of 6.5 x 4.88 cm. When we further consider that video captures moving images (rather than stills) and the inherent blur associated with this and that video is interlaced (only every second vertical line is captured) for each image on your television, it is simple to understand why prints from video are extremely low quality when compared to photographic prints. |
